Contemporary artist known for her embroidered paintings that merge craft traditions with fine art. Her works explore themes of femininity and identity through layered needlework over abstract canvases, a technique she developed while studying at the Villa Arson in Nice. A leading voice in contemporary Arab feminist art, her works are held by the Centre Pompidou, Brooklyn Museum, and British Museum.
