Privacy Policy
Artmus is a small online gallery. We collect very little, we do not sell or share what we hold, and we would rather explain it in plain language than bury it in legal formulas. This page describes what happens to your information when you contact us or subscribe to our updates.

Who is responsible
Artmus, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is responsible for the personal data described on this page. If you have any question about it, write to contact@artmus.art and we will answer you directly.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we receive your name, your email address, your telephone number if you choose to give it, the message you write, and whether you asked to receive our newsletters.
When you subscribe to updates, whether generally or about a particular artist, we receive your email address and the artist you asked about.
If we go on to sell you a work, we hold the information the sale requires: your billing and delivery address, and the record of the invoice. Payment is made by bank transfer directly to our bank, so we never see or store card details.
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third party analytics that follow you between websites.
Why we hold it
To reply to your enquiry and to discuss works with you. To send you news of new arrivals and exhibitions, if you asked for that. To issue invoices, arrange shipping, and keep the records of sale and provenance that a gallery is expected to keep.
Who else sees it
Our forms are handled by Formspree, which passes submissions to our email. Our email runs on Microsoft 365. Our records are kept in Notion. The website is hosted by Cloudflare. These providers process the information on our behalf and under their own security obligations; they are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
When a work is shipped, we pass the delivery details to the shipping agent and, where required, to customs authorities. That is the only circumstance in which your details leave our hands.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with other galleries, dealers, or auction houses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead anywhere are kept for two years, in case you write again and we want the context. Subscription details are kept until you unsubscribe. Records connected to a sale are kept for as long as the law and the provenance of the work require, which is normally at least seven years.
Your choices
You may ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You may unsubscribe from our updates whenever you wish, either through the link in any email we send or simply by asking. There is no penalty and no follow up.
Write to contact@artmus.art and we will act on your request without charge.
Changes to this page
If our practices change, we will amend this page and update the date shown at the top. Material changes affecting people already on our list will be announced by email.
Questions about any of this are welcome. Write to contact@artmus.art.
